Just a note to let you know that my closest friend in high school, Beverly Smith, died August 24, 1981, from injuries received in a motorcycle/car crash in Dumas, Texas. She had graduated from nursing school the day before. She and her husband were on a motorcycle and were hit by a 16-year old girl who had just received her driver's license. In addition to her parents, a sister and a brother, Beverly was survived by her husband, Charles Bevill. They did not have any children.
