Michael "Mike" D. Childers, 34, died Friday, Nov. 9, 1990.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Schooler-Gordon Bell Avenue Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Sharp, pastor of Irwin Road baptist Church, officiating.  Burial will be at Llano cemetery.

Mr. Childers, born in Hobbs, NM, had been a lifelong resident.  He was a self-employed scale technician and a Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Vicki Childers; two daughters, Jillanna Childers and Patricia Smith, both of Amarillo; three sons, Jeremy Childers of Silsbee, and Robert Smith and Frank Smith, both of Amarillo; his parents, David and Wanda Childers of Amarillo; two sisters, Leslie Childers and Tina Smith, both of Amarillo; and his grandparents, R.T. and Lorean Frazier of Amarillo.

The family requests memorials be to a favorite charity.
